I started with software that had to survive the workday
I spent more than eight years building software inside real businesses before starting FWA. First came sales and operations software for a manufacturer, grown from a database tool into a browser application used every working day. Then a custom point-of-sale system used in daily retail.
That work taught me to start with the process, not the interface. A screen can look polished and still fail the person trying to quote an order, finish a sale or get through the next task.
I use the same standard for websites. First, I figure out what your customer needs to do. Then I build the shortest reliable path to the call, quote request or booking you actually want.
