Privacy Policy

How Francis Web Agency collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit our site or get in touch.

Effective date: July 30, 2026

Francis Web Agency (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you visit franciswebagency.com or get in touch, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

What you give us. When you fill out our contact form, email, or call, we collect what you choose to share: usually your name, email, phone number, and details about your project.

What's collected automatically. Like most websites, we collect basic technical data when you visit: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and how you got here. We use it to understand traffic and improve the site.

Cookies and analytics. We use cookies and analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to measure how the site is used. You can turn off cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may work less smoothly if you do.

2. Phone calls and our AI receptionist

Our phone lines are answered by an AI assistant. Calls to our business line and to the demo line on our AI Receptionist page are answered by an automated AI receptionist. It identifies itself as an AI at the start of every call, and it never pretends to be a person.

Calls are recorded, transcribed, and summarized so we can respond to your inquiry, follow up accurately, and improve how the assistant handles calls. By continuing a call after the assistant introduces itself, you consent to that processing. If you'd rather not speak with an AI or be recorded, hang up and email us at info@franciswebagency.com instead. A human reads every message.

Call audio and transcripts are processed and stored by the voice-AI service providers that power the assistant, under the same service-provider basis described in “How we share information,” and kept only as long as described in “How long we keep it.” Please don't share sensitive personal information (such as payment card or health details) with the assistant; it will never ask for any.

3. How we use your information

  • To respond to your inquiry and provide the services you ask about
  • To prepare proposals, quotes, and project communication
  • To operate, maintain, and improve our website
  • To send things you've requested, and occasional updates if you've opted in
  • To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations

We do not sell your personal information.

4. How we share information

We share information only with the service providers who help us run the business (for example hosting, analytics, email, and payment processors), and only as much as they need to do their job. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

5. How long we keep it

We keep project and contact information for as long as we need it to provide our services and meet legal and record-keeping requirements, then delete or anonymize it.

6. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Just email info@franciswebagency.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.

8. Children's privacy

Our site and services are meant for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.

9. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is ever completely secure, so we can't promise absolute security.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows the latest version, and meaningful changes will be posted on this page.
